"Primarch Fenix is sometimes jokingly referred to as the "Honorary Techpriest" for his invention of the Lancer-pattern Bolter Rifle. An ad-hoc upgrade to the venerable Godwyn-pattern, it includes an elongated barrel assembly to accommodate the miniaturized Chainsword blade along the bottom of the handguard. The result is a weapon that is equal parts Chainsword and Bolter, and has since become standard equipment for the Marines of his chapter."
